To prevent jewelry from damage, do not rub jewelry with coarse surface, it may scratch  your jewelry.

Do not expose the jewelry to direct sunlight for long period of time, it may fade the color of the stone.

Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotion and spray, it may leave residue to the jewelry.

Cleaning liquid with ammonia can attack cultured pearls and many materials used in costume jewelry.

Most costume jewelry cleans well with mild, soapy water and a soft brush.

Don't soak glued pearl or gemstone jewelry or any pieces of jewelry made with rhinestones.

Wipe your jewelry with damped cloth of warm water-detergent solution to clean the jewelry.

Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry off with a soft cloth.

Preserve your jewelry in velvet pouches, soft sacks, boxes or even zip-lock plastic bags.

Your jewelry are supposed to rest against your body, not other pieces of jewelry.
